The Prep enrolment process for 2025 commenced in Term 3. To be enrolled in Prep, your child must be aged 5 by June 30 in the year they commence. It is compulsory for all Queensland children to complete Prep prior to commencing Year 1.
What do I need to do to organise my Prep Enrolment?
- 2025 enrolment forms can be collected at the school office or downloaded here. Fill out the forms below, and return to the school office or email enrolments@raceviewss.eq.edu.au. It is important to complete all paperwork, particularly the Prep Enrolment form, which gives the school and your child's Prep teacher, detailed information about your child. If you have medical reports, please provide a copy of these to your enrolment so that we can plan for your child's needs.
- Once all your required documentation is handed in (Enrolment forms, Prep Information form, Hearing form, Birth Certificate, 2x proof of address), book in for an enrolment interview
- Interviews are being held in Term 4 2024
- At the end of Kindy, you will be given a Transition Statement, please forward this to enrolments@raceviewss.eq.edu.au at your earliest convenience. This information will assist your child's teacher in planning and preparation before they begin the school year.

Transition Sessions
Across three Friday's in November, Prep hosts transition sessions to help you and your child become familiar with the Prep area and get to know the teachers and meet new friends / families also starting in the new year. It is highly recommended your child attends all sessions to best support a smooth transition into Prep in 2025. Please see below for the transition sessions:

Meet the Teacher
In Term 4, you will be informed of your child's class and teacher and receive an invitation for your child to attend a 'Meet the Teacher' session on Wednesday 4 December 2024. We look forward to meeting you and your child.
