This term we will be introducing 'Books for Babies'.
Reading with children from birth is probably the single most important activity in developing a child's future and ability to read and write. Establishing the building blocks for literacy starts very early in life. At Raceview we believe that reading is an important tool for our children and we would like to provide a beautiful book to each of our 'new babies' in our school at one of our school Assemblies.
Parents can register their interest through a form on the School Web Page or through the office. Once completed, please email your form to info@raceviewss.eq.edu.au or drop the form off to the office.
At the assembly, parents and siblings will be invited onto the stage to receive this gift for the new baby. This is an exciting new edition to our school as we continue to build our culture and vision of 'Becoming Better Together".
